My Final Images are inspired by the young and confident performance artist Sally Bowles from Cabaret mixed with elements of the rich and beautiful delicate details from the recent movie The Great Gatsby. I have edited the images to a slight dreamy effect to portray the characters strive to achieve her dreams and representing a strong woman. Both these ideas were sparked and produced from the design I had made for my timed assessment partner. I did not add any jewellery to both looks as I wanted them to be as sophisticated as possible and to concentrate on the strong features that are enhanced with the make up. The first image shows Charlotte my model and first thing I noticed about her was her strong and bold eyebrows that were perfect to work with and I had to make them the star of the show. Because of her big bold features I thought the hair was best gelled back with the waves I had created to give the hair more texture whilst still tied back. The rounded bowl shaped hat completed her look as she looks as though she is ready to dance on stage.
I wanted to continue the cabaret performer look with my second image. Originally I was going to use the full fringe blonde bob wig from the wig practice session, however on the day of the shoot it was unavailable so I had to make the long blonde wig work with my look. The short bob would have looked more original and a bit more edgy, but luckily this still suited the look. This wig was synthetic so I could not have curled it as I was thinking to. This had taught me a big lesson and In future to be one step ahead!
