Wig Work

TOOLS

- Brush/comb
- Hair grips
- Hair pins (big ones with two ends going outwards)
- Elastics
- Wig cap
- Scratch wig

APPLICATION & HEALTH & SAFETY

- If working on short hair, make pin curls all over the head until all hair is securely flat to the head.

- With long hair, split the hair into two evenly and French braid the hair and make it as flat and tight as possible to the head. We want an even and smooth surface.
- Braid from root to tip and then wrap around the head.
- Apply wig cap on top of the head and tuck any loose hairs back into the cap.
- Model needs to hold two fingers up at the front to help you pull the scratch wig securely over the head.

- Secure the wig on by gently sliding big hairpins with two ends, where it isn’t noticeable, through the wig cap back into itself to make sure the wig stays on if model is wearing it for a long period of time.
- Be very cautious not to dig into the scalp when doing this, as it is hard to feel where the real hair is under the cap.

I think I will use this use this wig to create one of my Berlin Inspired Final looks as I love how it has the futuristic style that will update the Berlin style make up.
